The “photic sneeze reflex” refers to the tendency to sneeze when moving from relative darkness into bright light—most often sunlight. For many people there are just two or three sneezes, but one researcher documented up to 43! No one really knows what causes these un-induced sneezes. No matter what the cause, the photic sneeze reflex, or "ACHOO syndrome" is pretty common. So much so that it's even alluded to in the Berenstain Bears children's books!Apparently Mikayla inherited this from me.

Mikayla gotta sneeze
I have always been allergic to the light. Whenever I go from a shady room to a bright light I tend to sneeze uncontrollably. This is a snippet of what 23 and me describes this phenomenon as:
